The Thai word Sabai means relaxed, precisely the way you will feel when you come and dine or have a drink with us at our Thai “Gastrobar”  We are a family run business and one of us is always at hand to make your night out as enjoyable as one might expect in the Land of Smiles.

Sabai Thai Gastrobar is conveniently situated in the centre of Brighton.  We are adjacent to the historical Royal Pavilion Gardens and close to all the theatres including The Dome and Theatre Royal.  Dining at Sabai will transport you to the beach bars of Samui or the contemporary restaurants of Bangkok.  If you need some beach time, the not so sandy, but equally inviting Brighton beach is just 5 minutes away!

We have an extensive menu including many vegetarian, vegan and gluten free dishes.  You will find all your Thai favourites with some of our Sabai specials.  We have a superb choice of wines to go with our food.  We would recommend the Gewurtztraminer or Reisling to accompany the flavours of Thai food.  You can sit back on our Thai cushions and choose a cocktail from our drink list or if a beer is more your thing we have Singha or Chang just like in Thailand.

At Sabai your gastronomic experience will be made complete with our fresh, authentic ingredients (some of which we bring from our family back in Thailand).  In our kitchen you will find basil, lime leaf, lemongrass, galangal, gachai, coriander and of course Thai chilli’s where all our dishes are freshly prepared.
